I am Péter Dely, 40 years old. My father, Károly Dely, is a yoga instructor who has taken me to the mountains since I was a child, including the High Tatras and the Slovak Paradise. We led yoga groups on trips both within Hungary and abroad. I grew up in this spirit, while I inherited the love of music from my mother.

​I have been living in the Canary Islands since 2009, in Tenerife since 2011. I have worked as a singer-pianist for the past 20 years. I started rock climbing around 2015 with Peter Almosand László Czakó. Here we met Walter Goller, who showed us the way into the world of sport climbing.

​Later I met Josué González Luis and the world of canyoning, which I immediately fell in love with.

I regularly visited the valleys in the company of Gody Makensy, Pedromo Ultima Cuerda, Ricardo Carpinter Pestano, from whom I was constantly learning. I attended the course of Eduardo “Rex” Gomez: “Taller de grandes verticales”.

I was lucky enough to participate in two courses organized by Javier Martín-Carbajal, where I further deepened my knowledge: Prevención, seguridad y autorescate and Curso de equipamiento de vías de escalada.

​Finally, I studied in La Laguna for three years from 2019 to 2022 at IES Geneto. Here I successfully completed the specializations Tecnico Deportivo en Media Montana and Tecnico Deportivo en Barrancos. My teachers: Sandra-José Kober, Josué González Luis, Juan Diego Amador Rivero.
